As the New York Knicks hosted its first-ever Filipino -Heritage night to celebrate the Asian-American month of October.
The Outstanding Filipinos in America anthem singers graced MSG with their beautiful voices and rendition of the “Stars Spangled Banner” at a packed New York Knicks versus Chicago Bulls game. Miss Gray posted an “I’m proud” on her Instagram story…placeholder://
Miss Gray was awarded a TOFA award (The Outstanding Filipinos in America award for ‘Women Empowerment’ at the historic Carnegie Hall, New York. According to TOFA founder and Inquirer.net news correspondent Mr. Elton Lugay, “Miss Universe Catriona Gray is perhaps and most zealous Filipina beauty queen to ever join the pageant and win the crown. Ensuring her costume integrated various aspects of Filipino culture, she organized a glam team to help captivate a global audience. An ardent advocate of equal opportunities for children and HIV/AIDS awareness. Catriona shined a light on these causes throughout her reign”.
